Where are our Host Families?
ICON has a database of host families located around the UK who provide both long and short-term accommodation for students. All host families must meet our requirement for the provision of accommodation in accordance with AEGIS guidelines.
Places are limited so please contact us as soon as possible on hostfamily@iconeducation.co.uk
We encourage our host families to integrate students into family life as much as possible, allowing them to experience new foods and activities which they may not have tried before, we have found that the more our students engage with the host family members the more they enjoy their time living in the UK.
Interested in becoming our Host Family?
If you are interested in joining us as a host family, please email to hostfamily@iconedu.co.uk or call us on 0115 963 4470 for an exploratory discussion. We would love to hear from you.
We will explain the expectations and the rewards of being a host family. We will ask you to fill in an application form. We will then arrange a visit to your home by one of our team members. Please be aware that all member of the family over the age of 16 who live at the accommodation will need to be DBS checked. This will be arranged and paid for by ICON as part of the application process.
